I remember a tenant of mine urging me to attend Chinkee Tan’s seminars for it was a fun learning experience. The first seminar that I am considering is the back to back seminar of Francis Kong and Chinkee Tan scheduled on Novemand November 15, 2009. If the schedule falls on a weekday and I am super intrigued by the topic, I will file for a leave of absence in the office just to be able to attend! The venue does not matter that much to me. … I love his books, if the speaker is an author … I’m hearing rave reviews about the speaker or the seminar … I love the topic (especially if it’s about personal development and money/business matters!) This we can do as OFW family members by educating ourselves.įor me, I would definitely pay to attend seminars or workshops if It is also our task to ensure that they too will enjoy the fruits of their labor when they come home. I believe that as partners of OFWs, it is our responsibility to ensure that we multiply or at least increase the value of remittances that our wives or husbands send regularly.
Through these seminars, OFW family members learn about business and investment opportunities which they might consider. In my view, OFW family members should take advantage of good Filipino speakers available in our country. Kuya Marc has also acquired this quest for learning that he loves attending workshops on public speaking, money management, business seminars, and leadership seminars. I crave for latest learning’s on self development and wealth management. I can live with an old cellphone but i feel uneasy when a year passes by without attending any seminar.
